TOP 10 HAUNTED PLACES IN UTTAR PRADESH


It is a state in northern India. Its city of Agra is home to the iconic Taj Mahal monument, a colossal, domed, white-marble mausoleum. Nearby are the red-brick walls of Agra Fort, a fortified palace dating to the 16th and 17th centuries. Capital Lucknow has Muslim memorial shrines Bara Imambara and calligraphy-adorned Chota Imambara. Here we present to you a list of top 10 haunted places in Uttar Pradesh.



1.    GP block – Meerut

On a number of occasions, four guys have been spotted sitting inside a house with a single candle lighted. It happens to be the most common sight for people passing through that area. Some of them also said that they have even seen girls in red dress coming out of the house. The house is double-storied and people have seen the boys sitting on the roof-top. As per the locals, now people have stopped going near that place.



2.    Sikandara Bagh, Lucknow


It was a place where conflicts between Indian freedom fighters and Britisher took place. As many as 72 British soldiers and around 2300 freedom fighters died here. British were so cruel that they did not allow proper burial rituals and left the bodies rot in the Sikandar Bagh garden. Many local people have reported hearing creepy voices from the garden at midnight.




3. Agricultural University, Allahabad


The girl’s hostel in this campus is said to be haunted. The nature of the ghost remains questionable as the story differs from person to person.




4. H.C.L, N3 Building, Noida


According to legend, women are assaulted (touched) by ghosts when inside the loo, many have seen blood dripping from the walls. This is by far the spookiest place in Noida.




5. Ghost Doctor, Gorakhpur


There is a place in Raiganj village where people are treated by ghosts. Here patients are made to jump into a mud pit, where the supposed ghost doctor treats them.

6. OEL House, Luckhnow

VC was allocated this bungalow and he was not aware of this bungalow's history. The bungalow’s well was supposed to be possessed by many evil spirit. Once the boy of VC was playing near the well by throwing stones in it, suddenly spirits possessed the boy, which lead to his untimely death.


7. St. John’s College, Agra

People have seen apparitions and heard whistling sounds from inside the college after 2:00 am. According to sources, the apparitions are of those students who had died here.



8) Civil Lines Ghost, Kanpur

There is a graveyard of Britisher in Civil Lines area of Kanpur where the spirit of a headless person lives. It is seen by many people in this area drinking water from tap, mostly at nights.



9) Govindpuram, Ghaziabad

According to the locals, a guy died several years back and he can still be seen walking on the lane. He (spirit) was brutally murdered by goons and it is said that his spirit never left this world and is still in search of those who killed him.




10) St. Mary's Academy, Saharanpur

One of the student of this school got possessed by an evil spirit and started behaving in an unusual manner. The Father of this institution somehow got rid of this evil after performing some religious activity.

The palace was constructed by Bajirao 1st in the year 1730. It was a 13 storey building.There is a story told about why this palace was chosen for the construction. The story says- The elder bajirao once saw a rabbit chasing a dog in this place. Taking inspiration from this Shaniwarwada  was build, a place which would never see defeat. It used to be the head quarter of the Peshwa and it symbolizes Pune's culture. There is a statue of Peshwa bajirao 1st on horse in the ground in fornt of Shaniwarwada. Inside one cab see Ganesh Mahal, Rang Mahal, Aarsa ( Mirror) Mahal, Hasti Dant Mahal, Diwan Khana, Fountains. Currently renovated and also have a light & music show.
